Tara Minton

Tara Minton is a harpist/singer/songwriter from Melbourne, Australia now living in London. A born story teller crossing folk, pops, soul, jazz and blues, Tara’s lyrics are both cheeky and sincere with smooth vocals and delightful harp melodies tying everything together.

Tara released her debut album “I harp you” on itunes in April 2011. The opening track “Play with me” caught the attention of acclaimed harpist and harp maker, Jakez Francois – head of Camac Harps France. Tara is now proudly sponsored by Camac and plays one of their iconic Big Blue electric harps.
She relocated to London mid April 2011, formed the Tara Minton Trio and begun playing around some of the cities greatest venues including Proud Camden, Ronnie Scott’s, The Troubadour, The Bedford, Blackheath Halls, The Regal Room, The Criterion Restaurant and the famed Dublin Castle.

Tara returned home for a brief month in April 2012 and played a sold out concert at Melbourne’s iconic jazz club, The Paris Cat. She is now currently back in London working on her second album.

As well as her own project, Tara also works as a vocalist and lyricist with the supremely talented RJ Chevalier producing pop/trance/dance music.
