Semillas del Sol
We are Semillas del Sol! Two voices with one guitar and a sole green tambourine~ We met back in good ol’ 8th grade. Once we became friends, we realized we shared similar interests and culture. Nicole is Peruvian and Puerto Rican, and Klio is Chilean and Greek. Together we mesh into a wonderful, cultural, acoustic experience. We began performing covers for fun in downtown Winchester on the walking mall. Ever since our first experience downtown, we loved it so much that we decided to form our dynamic duo and begin the process of writing our own music.
The name Semillas del Sol stood out to us because of our ethnicity and because we are simply kids growin’ up and livin’ life, and we try to reflect the simplicity of life in our music.
We enjoyΒ bikin’, singin’ songs, bakin’ vegan brownies, watchin’ films, SCHOOL OF ROCK, lolin’, speakin’ spanish, and adventurin’.
