Minna Stenberg

Minna Stenberg is singer/songwriter currently located in Finland. Her folk-pop/indie music is heavily influenced by personal experiences and acoustic folk music.

She was born and raised in a small town in Tuusula, Finland, where she was first introduced to music at a young age. She started learning to play a traditional finnish instrument Kantele (a 36-stringed one) at the age of 4, and later on moved on to learning guitar, singing and songwriting.

In 2011 she left her home in Finland to attend Musician’s Institute in Hollywood, studying vocals and graduating in March 2013 with an Associate of Arts in Vocal Performance- degree. With some help from teachers and friends, she recorded her first demo EP “I Will Return in the Fall” at the school.

After graduating she returned to Finland, where she is currently writing new songs and performing as a solo artist and a backup vocalist. She is also planning her return to Los Angeles, California in the near future.
