Anna Yanova
Anna Yanova is a Bulgarian singer/songwriter, currently residing in Los Angeles. At the early age of 5 she expressed desire to start learning more about music, so she began voice and piano lessons and since then has worked with the big voices of Bulgaria’s Camellia Todorova, Silvia Katzarova, Violetta Onikian and Stefka Onikian.
At the age of 10 Anna had her first debut singing on national TV with the showcasing young talent music show “Kato Lavovete”. When she was 13, Anna was chosen to perform on the stage of “Rock In Rila” festival, Bulgaria, in front of 20,000 people. She also performed on the same festival the following 5 years in a row.
Inspired to follow her dream, Anna moved to Los Angeles in September 2010 and took the next step in her musical career by enrolling in the “Vocals in Performance” Program at Musicians Institute, Hollywood. She had the great honor to work with industry professionals Coreen Sheehan, Anika Paris, Charissa Nicole, Bernard Baur, Adrian Park, Marko DeSantis, Bobby Borg and many others.
In 2011, Anna was selected to sing with the “Artist for Peace” choir and on November 1st, performed at the Gibson Amphitheatre, sharing the stage with Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Eric Benet, Michael Stone and many others.
On March 17th 2012, Anna graduated from the “Vocals in Performance” Program at Musicians Institute and was honored by the faculty and staff at MI with the “OUTSTANDING ARTIST OF THE YEAR” award. The ceremony was held at The Wiltern Theater, Los Angeles.
Anna is currently recording her first EP, which will be out by the end of 2012 and is performing at the LA stage.
