Zac DelVecchio – Luthier and Rig Consultant
Zac DelVecchio was born and raised on Long Island, NY and has had a love of the musical and media arts since he was a child. After picking up the guitar in 2007 he was hooked on the instrument.
In 2008 Zac began to build guitars and amplifiers in his spare time working for Ritchie Blackmore’s (Deep Purple/Rainbow) guitar tech. He also began to have a career in stage managing where he worked with bands such as Richie Havens, Devon Allman, Jorma Kaukonen (Jefferson Airplane/Hot Tuna) and Savoy Brown.
In 2011 he went on to attend the Musicians Institute in Hollywood California where he received an Associates Degree in guitar performance. It was also in Hollywood where he worked for legendary amp and rack guru Dave Friedman of Tone Merchants/Rack Systems. There he built amp rigs and pedal boards for celebrities like Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi) Justin Derrico (Pink!) Joe Bonamassa, Dave Grohl, Alice in Chains, The Killers, Van Halen, MY Chemical Romance, Pete Thorn and many more.
Zac Currently is the New York/ New England sales rep of Knaggs guitars and overseas production director of KLON pedals. Zac also is the CEO of JMZ Music Consultation, a luthier, rig consultant and a session player.
Zac currently attends Berklee College of Music in Boston where he will eventually receive a dual major degree in performance and business.
