Gregg Wright, took up guitar while attending junior high school in Wichita Falls, Texas, where his father, a career military man, was stationed. In high school, he started playing in bands around the Washington, D.C. area during his Dad’s last military assignment prior to retirement.

Gregg’s pro career began on the U.S. Southern circuit in the mid-1970’s, opening shows for many Blues legends. An ’80’s move from Louisiana to Los Angeles saw Wright become an A-list session guitarist, earning awards, platinum albums and world tours with Michael Jackson, Mick Fleetwood, and many others. He is a featured soloist on the IMAX film soundtrack “Ocean Oasis” with the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra.

Wright’s latest CD “King of the Rockin’ Blues!” is a showcase for some of his best songs and guitar work on record and “puts him in a class among the world’s elite Blues guitarists” according to the UK magazine Blues Matters. Outstanding live performances across Europe and America, have earned him much international acclaim.
