ARSON-STRIKE

ARSON-STRIKE is an American band formed in 2012 in Los Angeles, CA. The band started out playing in different venues on the Sunset Strip, like the Whisky a GoGo, Rainbow Bar & Grill and the now extinct Key Club.

The sound can be described as something in between the realms of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal, and the main influences come from names of both genres, such as Guns and Roses, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Def Leppard, AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Scorpions, Angra, Dream Theater, Deep Purple, Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath and many more.

The first line up consisted of Ferdinand, Matt and Rui. The idea was never to be a three piece band, but after having no luck finding a guitarist that would fit the band’s profile, ARSON-STRIKE played some shows as a trio. Ferdinand, Matt and Rui recorded ARSON-STRIKE’s first 11 songs at Infrasound Studios in Los Angeles, in one day. Those songs are being released together with music videos, as the band prepares to tour and to put together an album.

In 2013, Steve Anderson joined ARSON-STRIKE, fact marked by the recording of the first video for the first single: “Overdrive”. After being complete, the band started consistently getting better feedback from the fans, culminating with an outstanding show at the Rainbow Bar & Grill where ARSON-STRIKE was warmly welcomed by the audience.

ARSON-STRIKE has been featured on several news vehicles around the world, and is currently working on material that is planned to be followed by a west coast tour in North America after its release.
