Andrew Sacheva
Andrew Sacheva (violin) was born November 7 1987 in Zdolbuniv (Ukraine).
His education: Music College in Rivne (Ukraine)and Jazz Academy in Katowice (Poland). Participant of international jazz workshops “CHODZIEŻ 2010”. The main creative activity – combining violin improvisation with electronic music in its various styles , contemporary music, jazz.
He is the founder of many musical projects:
“Chess acoustic music” (2007-2010) – world music, improvisation. Released debut album “Mini Mini” on iTunes, Amazon, iTunes USA, Canada, UK, European Union, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Mexico, Napster, and Rhapsody in 2010.
“Violin Dj” (2007-2013)-playing and creating music with Dj`s: Cuefx (Poland), Sub Sonic (Bulgaria), Jelessi (Finland), Darkman (UA), Ground (UA), Volosy Ptitz (UA), Montana (Russia) and others.
In 2013, the label Bear Beat Records (Italy) officially issued a release of the single “Street Views” which was created in collaboration Andrew Sacheva & Dj and composer Jelessi. Release date 2013.12.17.
Artist of the Academic Chamber Orchestra of the Rivne Philharmonic (2008-2011).
Scholarship Program of Minister of Culture of Poland “Gaude Polonia” (2011). During residence studied jazz violin improvisation in Jazz Academy in Katowice, prof. Henryk Gembalski . released CD, music for solo violin, named “Grafika“.
“French Connection Jazz Quartet” (2011-to date, Kiev, Ukraine) – band leader, composer.
«ELVIO DUO» (2011-to date, Kiev) – electro-acoustic duet with Anastasia Arkhanhorodskaya (electroacoustic composition, electronic sound processing in real time ).
Author of the musical accompaniment to the poetry performance readings by Alexander Chekmariov “Journey“.
Participated in performances by famous Ukrainian electroacoustic composer Alla Zagaykevych.
